Lei Hu is a project manager in the plastics industry at COALIA. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Processes at Grenoble 1 University in 2008 and his master's degree in Materials at the University of Strasbourg in 2010. Then, he continued his doctoral studies in chemical engineering at the University Laval. Since his employment at COALIA in 2014, he has had the opportunity to work on various research subjects: recycling; bioplastics and biocomposites; plastics processing; application of innovative loads; optimization of instrumental measurements, etc. His current research interests focus on additive manufacturing from thermoplastics. More specifically, its efforts focus on the development of materials and processes dedicated to advanced additive manufacturing.
