Dumont, Marie-Josée

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in food engineering (Université Laval), a master’s degree in chemical engineering (Université Laval) and a doctorate in bioresource engineering from the University of Alberta. Subsequently, I gained experience working at the government, industry, and academic levels where I was responsible for the production of polymers and bio-based chemicals at the laboratory and pilot scales. I developed expertise in the characterization and chemical and biological transformation of a wide range of bioresources into specialty and basic products.
