Congratulations to Prof. Brahim Benmokrane who received the ‘Academic Pioneer Award‘ awarded by the ACMA (American Composites Manufacturers Association) at its annual meeting which takes place in Orlando (FL) from September 8 to 11, 2025. The prize is awarded in recognition of original & visionary research, and innovative ideas that have been scientifically investigated, tested, and demonstrated to significantly advance FRP composites technology and inspired the next generation of academic and industry leaders. Awarded in recognition of performing fundamental research leading to prototyping of new FRP composite products, active in the development of standards, specifications, design guidelines, and codes supporting state-of-the-art practices in new applications, and educating undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral students in FRP composites technology through course development, instruction, and testing programs.
