CERMIM and CITÉ at the University of Sherbrooke are recruiting for a research project on the valorization of marine plastics in the Magdalen Islands.

This is an opportunity to begin at the master’s level with the possibility of accelerated progression to a doctoral program, or to directly join the project at the doctoral level. The project aims to transform recovered marine plastics—particularly ropes from ghost fishing gear—into new materials and products for coastal communities.

Location: Iles de la Madeleine
