Biography
François Brouillette holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (UQTR, 1993) and a Ph.D. in environmental sciences (UQAM, 2001). He was an NSERC industrial postdoctoral fellow in the field of paper additives at LPM Technologies from 2001 to 2003. After holding several chemist positions in the private sector (1993 to 2005), he joined UQTR and thePulp and Paper Research Centre (CRPP, now I2E3) as a professor in 2005. His research interests include papermaking chemistry, the chemical modification and applications of natural fibers. He joined CREPEC in 2021.
