Vision Project “Design and advanced manufacturing of a lunar rover using thermoplastic composites”
Biography
Martine Dubé is a Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Ecole de technologie supérieure. She is a member of the Laboratoire d’ingénierie des polymères et composites (LIPEC). She is interested in the processing, recycling and welding of high performance thermoplastic composites. Before her appointment as a professor, she worked at Bombardier Aerospace where her main mandate was to develop methodologies for repairing composite structures. She also worked at Ecole Polytechnique in Paris for two years as a post-doctoral fellow where she used continuum damage mechanics modelling to predict the damage created in a glass material subjected to a thermal shock.
