Louis Laberge Lebel is a professor at Polytechnique since 2014 where he is leading the Advanced Composite and Fiber Structures Laboratory. He has worked more than 3 years in the aerospace industry as an advanced designer, researcher, and materials and process specialist at Bombardier Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney Canada. He completed his post-doctoral studies in Japan at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. He has obtained is PhD at Polytechnique Montreal. His researches in manufacturing and nanocomposites were nominated on the top ten discoveries in Quebec in 2009.
