Biography
Larry Lessard is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He obtained his engineering degree from McGill University and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University (California) in the USA. He is a member of the Structures and Composite Materials Group at McGill, and a member CREPEC. He is highly involved in applied research with main interests in the Design, Analysis, Fabrication and Testing of Composite Structures. He has published more than 60 articles for conferences and in scientific journals. He has received several awards for teaching, including a Faculty of Engineering Outstanding Teaching Award in 2006 and again in 2018.
