Biography

Frej Mighri is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Laval University, Quebec, Canada. He was Head of the graduate studies program (2010-2014) and Head of polymer processing program (2005-2009). He has obtained his bachelor and master degrees in mechanical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal (1987) and Sherbrooke University (1989), respectively. He worked during four years as senior engineer at CETIME, a Tunisian government organism, where he had set up in collaboration in collaboration with the United Nations the first Laboratory in the country for polymer characterization. Thereafter, he did his Ph.D. in Chemical engineering at Ecole Polytechnique of Montréal (finished in 1998). He worked during five years at the Industrial Materials Institute, IMI, National Research Council, Canada, NRCC, in the first time as a Postdoctoral trainee (NSERC fellowship) then as research associate and research officer.
