Denis Rodrigue obtained a B.Sc. (1991) and a Ph.D. (1996) in chemical engineering from Université de Sherbrooke (Sherbrooke, Canada) with a specialization in non-Newtonian fluid mechanics. In 1996, he moved to Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada) as an assistant professor of chemical engineering where he is now full professor since 2005. Professor Rodrigue has been the vice-president (2002-2003) and president (2003-2005) of the Quebec Polymer Society (QPS), He is currently the coeditor of Current Applied Polymer Science and serving on the Advisory Editorial Board of Biopolymer Applications Journal, Cellular Polymers, Elastomery, Polymers et Recycling.
