Marie Claude HEUZEY joined the Chemical Engineering Department at Polytechnique Montreal in 2000 where she is now Full Professor. She is an expert on the rheology of complex fluids and her contributions are recognized worldwide. In the last years she conducted research on biopolymers, biocomposites and soft materials such as gels, hydrocolloids, suspensions and emulsions. She uses a multidisciplinary approach across materials science, chemical engineering, applied chemistry and rheology.
